Cards with Character

Greeting cards are a little moment of joy — a way to say happy birthday, I’m thinking of you, or simply this made me smile. And they’re even better when they’re something a bit special.

I’m a one‑woman small business. Born & raised in Derbyshire. Now residing in Nottinghamshire near Sherwood Forest in the East Midlands, creating original, hand‑drawn greeting cards inspired by real life. Nothing is mass‑produced, and nothing is AI‑generated. Every slogan starts with a moment — something overheard, something experienced, or something that made me laugh. From there, a character is born… or sometimes it’s the character who turns up first and the words follow later.

From Sketch Pad to Card

Every design begins the old‑school way, with pencil and paper. No stencils, no transfers, no decoupage, no shortcuts — just a sketch pad, a pencil, and imagination. Once the drawing is complete, I add coloured ink, scan the artwork to my laptop, and carefully place the text before having the finished design printed onto high‑quality cardstock.

Small Batches, Big Personality

Only a small number of each design is ever printed, making every card a limited edition. All cards are blank inside, ready for your own personal message.

Each card:

Is standard Royal Mail letter size

Comes with a plain envelope

Is sealed in a cello bag

Ships to the UK mainland only

All artwork remains copyright and may not be used without permission. I don’t offer customised or bespoke designs — what you see is exactly what I’ve lovingly created.

If my cards make you smile, laugh, or think “that’s so them”, then they’ve done their job.

All cards will be sent via Royal Mail 2nd class service to keep costs down. At checkout you are able to select either 2nd class standard mail (stamp affixed & put in a post-box) or 2nd class Signed For option. The Standard service has no reference number or tracking allocated. If you choose the standard service for your order, no proof of posting is available and its progress through the mail system cannot be tracked.

Every attempt to post the next day will be made but I am unable to specify exact delivery dates, so please allow up to 5 working days after order date for me to post and 5 working days after I post for Royal Mail to fulfil their promise of delivery.

Please note that any December orders placed after the Royal Mail last posting dates cannot be guaranteed to arrive before Christmas.
